Props2 is the brainchild of Nashville teen, Sofia Ehtesham. Growing up in the area, she and her family were victims of area flooding and had to rely upon the community to help get them back on their feet. Because of this outpouring of community care, Sofia feels strongly about giving back to the community and organizations that gave so much to her and her family when they were in need.
Leveraging the heavy use of social media in her age group, Sofia thought that social media could be used to do more than just rate businesses as good or bad, share articles about celebrities or makeup tutorials. She saw an opportunity to just do good.
The app combines social media sharing habits, community business experiences and by doing so, donating to various area charities and non-profit organizations. Each post earns a donation to the user’s favorite chosen charity.

For Users
You’re already on social media. Why not add Props2 to your day? Stop off at your favorite Nashville-area retailers and restaurants and tell us about your experience. When you share about participating businesses, each post will gain a small donation to your chosen charity. You’ll also earn a small commission for your efforts. It’s a win-win! Shop, share, donate. It’s that easy.
For Businesses
Nashville-area businesses are invited to join Sofia and the community in this venture. We are seeking community-minded, locally-owned businesses that our users can say great things about! That’s YOU! You’ll then rate the users’ posts, and for high quality posts that represent your business positively – a small amount is donated to the user’s chosen Nashville charity or non-profit organization. This encourages users to engage with your business through the app, brings favorable visibility to your enterprise, and raises money for local Nashville charities and non-profits. Everyone wins! You’re already giving back to the community, and this won’t put you over your charitable giving budget. You establish a do-not-exceed budget, and you rate the posts. The better the post, the more you tip your hat to the user’s charity.
For Charity & Non-Profit Organizations
The team at Props2 knows that Nashville wouldn’t be the community it is without the non-profit organizations and charities helping people. We invited local organizations to join Sofia and the community in this venture and reap the rewards of social media from your community business partners. Each time a Props2 user makes a post or shares a photo about their good experience at an associated retailer, the retailer will attach a small donation to the users’ designated charity group. You could be getting a donation each time our users shop, eat and share.
